i'm writing a letter to a person i miss.
to begin with,
i would write to you, in the sky,
aglow with the setting sun
i miss you
rather than long time no see.
i'm grateful for breathing with you under the same sky
and for seeing that hazy glow in the sky together.
my heart floats faster
than a wind and a cloud,
my heart is always near to you.
now i wish to finish writing you
in hopes that i am in your memory
rather than missing you.

그리운 이에게 편지를 쓴다.
먼 하늘 노을 지는
그 위에다가
그간 안녕이라는 말보다
보고 싶다는 말을
먼저 하자.
그대와 같은 하늘 아래 숨쉬고
아련한 노을 함께 보기에 고맙다.
바람보다,
구름보다 더 빨리 가는
내 마음,늘 그대 곁에 있다.
그래도 보고 싶다는 말보다
언제나 남아 있다는 말로
맺는다.
